WELCOME TO OUR VERY FIRST NEWSLETTERWe are excited to start connecting with you more regularly about the the most important part of Real Time Rescue- THE DOGS! We plan to use these letters as a chance to highlight who is new to the pack, who has found a home of their own and more about the adventures our fosters are having! In addition to pupdates, we look forward to getting a chance to share some of our favorite people and places in the community with you too, so that we can all promote more good in the name of rescue.

STARTING WITH THE BEST NEWS…

JESSIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Our sweet Jessie from the Barstow Shelter has officially been ADOPTED. Jessie is both blind and deaf and had been living at the shelter for 2 years when we first met her. Gratefully we were able to get her out of there and THANKS to the wonderful TAZZY FUND we were also able to have her eyes removed, relieving her of the pain and pressure they were causing. Since then, she has been living with the most incredible foster family who have been caring for her for many months. However in mid-May, Founder and Board President Seana Cormack finally had the opportunity to travel up North to deliver Jessie to her forever home and we are happy to announce that everything went smoothly and she adores her new family!
Jessie embodies the true meaning of the word SURVIVOR. Our team went all in to make sure she now only feels SAFETY and LOVE for the rest of her life. |

Big, beautiful ROXY was surrendered to RTR by her owner who originally adopted her from a local shelter and then kept her enclosed in an outdoor kennel 24/7 for many years. When faced with a move, Roxy was destined to go back to the shelter. Luckily, she found herself a fairy dogmother in the real estate agent selling the home who stepped in and asked if RTR could take Roxy under our wing instead. Roxy has been fully vetted and is now boarding near the Joshua Tree area. She is READY for a home. Please CLICK HERE for more and spread the word about this ROXY GIRL. |

GRIZZLY was the last of the pack of six dogs that RTR was able to rescue from the Twentynine Palms Shelter and place into homes after their owner passed away unexpectedly. Two of his siblings have since been adopted and the others, LIL’ BOY, HERCULES and BEAR, are all doing really well in their foster homes. GRIZZ, by far the most sensitive of the group, stayed with our friends at the Morongo Basin Humane Society a few weeks while we worked to secure an experienced foster. Luckily enough, we found one! He is now in a home where he can take as much time as he needs to decompress. Not available for adoption yet, but stay tuned for more on the GRIZZLES. |

CHER is a gorgeously full figured 7 year old English Bulldog who was surrendered to RTR when her owner, a veteran who was suffering from severe PTSD, could no longer care for her. We received a call from our friends at Tazzy Fund asking if we could help out, knowing that we often work with low income communities. How could we say no? Look at this Queen! I scream, you scream, we all love ICE CREAM! This sweet freckled face 2yr old girl arrived to us from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society, where she had ended up as a stray. Before RTR scooped her up, she had been in quarantine for months due to a ringworm infection. But now she is free and clear and ready to socialize! Ice Cream does best with large, secure mellow dogs, and is looking for an adopter who is a strong leader and motivated to help her grow up to be her best self.
