Last month marked Real Time Rescue’s FIRST BIRTHDAY!We’d like to take this opportunity to let you know how incredibly thankful we are for each and every one of you. Your support has meant that over this first year Real Time Rescue has been able to provide TWENTY-THREE dogs the time, space and resources necessary to get out of some not so great situations and on to being their best dog selves. 16 of these dogs have been placed in forever homes with wonderful humans who are particularly suited to their medical and/or behavioral needs while the others are resting comfy, cozy with some of the best, most dedicated caregivers in the biz. It has been an honor for all of us here at Real Time Rescue to help these dogs along their journey and we are very excited for all that is possible in YEAR TWO! THESE DOGS (& MANY MORE) THANK YOU. |

Last month BONZO checked out of his foster home and into THE BEST new digs. Totally misunderstood by his original family, we knew it was all about finding the best match. This cutie had many applications, so we took our time following up on each one and doing a few meet and greets to make sure the connection was RIGHT. We’re confident he landed where he belongs. We can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds for him! |

When we met JOSIE she was with a family who had saved her from a backyard breeding situation but found themselves beyond overwhelmed by her medical needs. After we got those taken care of, the bestest foster welcomed her into her home. With the time and space to decompress and learn how to be the dog she’d never been given a chance to be before, she blossomed before our eyes. She was ready for a forever family just in time to steal the hearts of the PERFECT FAMILY FOR HER!

LUIGI is jazzed about sweater weather! Can’t you tell? We’re pleased to introduce you to this handsome fella and newest member of the RTR pack! This 7yr old pupperoonie was a breeding stud cast out recently after needing to be neutered due to prostate issues. Post-surgery, Luigi was of “no use” to his breeder. Although a nice family stepped in to help him, their home wasn’t the right fit and he began to pick fights with another dog living there. Thankfully we had a foster family ready to go and he’s made another quick transition. We’ll give him time to settle into a new routine before he’ll be officially up for adoption, but CLICK HERE for more of sweet faced Luigi! |

IN GETTING THE HELP SHE NEEDS!During NOVEMBER get yourself some super cute candles featuring one of the many lovable faces of our sassy seniorita Luna, who we recently discovered has cruciate tears in BOTH legs and needs DOUBLE Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery. This procedure will stabilize her knee joints, reduce inflammation and arthritis- allowing her to WALK PAIN FREE- but it is not cheap.

We’re excited to announce that we have found another way to help more of the dogs in our community that need it the most! As a small rescue, we simply can’t fundraise fast enough to help every dog that comes across our path in need of serious medical care. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do our best to help people find solutions, even if those are outside of Real Time. Sometimes we have to get creative and lean on the trusted folks in our network, which we’ve worked hard to expand in this first year. So it was an exciting day when RTR’s Board VP began speaking directly with volunteers at Feeding Pets of the Homeless about the services they offer to people just like those we help via WOTS! |

REAL TIME RESCUE is non-profit 501(c)(3) completely funded by donations, fundraising and grants.All donations go towards keeping the dogs you see here fed, healthy and up to date on all medical needs, giving them behavioral teachings often including board & train and allowing us necessary resources to advocate on their behalf.
