BEAR

ADOPTED!

Bear’s story is one of abandonment. His original owners brought him to a boarding facility in Orange County, CA in February 2020 and simply never came back for him. He was an anxious pup to begin with, which was only exacerbated by spending nearly a year in boarding, where he also became an escape artist, finding ways to sneak out of his kennel into the play yards.

The awesome folks at this facility had been working with Bear when they could to help ease his anxiety and build better trust with humans, but were faced with the hard fact that they didn’t have an adoption network or the resources necessary to find him a home. Luckily RTR studmuffin Moose was going to be boarding on a short term basis at this very facility! After witnessing our dedication to Moose the boarding staff opened up about their situation with Bear. We met with them multiple times- working on a plan for Bear’s exit and having him evaluated by a trusted trainer.

In January of 2021 we welcomed Bear officially into Real Time Rescue and scheduled him for a 2 week stint of Board & Train for necessary training needed before he enters the foster home that we have ready and waiting for some much needed decompression. Bear will continue to receive training after his initial two week stay and will be placed up for adoption once he is acclimated to life in a secure, loving home! Is this the Bear of your dreams?
