CHER

HER FOSTERS COULDN’T PART WITH HER!

Cher is a gorgeously full figured 7 year old English Bulldog who was surrendered to Real Time Rescue when her owner, a veteran who was suffering from severe PTSD, could no longer care for her. We received a call from our friends at Tazzy Fund asking if we could help this little chunk of love, knowing that we often work with the low income community, which regrettably, commonly includes US veterans. Tazzy Fund explained that this man had been struggling for years with his PTSD and regrettably his mental state had now evolved into a place where he could not properly care for Cher, his beloved companion. Working together with Tazzy Fund, Real Time Rescue took Cher in and immediately placed her in the hands of our trusted trainers, No Bull Rehab, for a complete evaluation. Having lived with her previous owner for her entire life thus far, these were big changes. But we’re happy to report that Cher is thriving and making huge strides each day towards being more confident and sociable. Cher's ideal home would be with adults only. If you’re interested and have pets, she’d do best with the more mellow and quiet types. Cher is crate and potty trained, likes to take short walks on leash and has the biggest wiggle butt in town! She will need a home with no stairs, but an apartment with an elevator OR a single-level home would do her just fine, as long as booty scratches are part of the deal. If you’d like to meet this queen, let us know!
