MISS DAISY

FINALLY IN A HOME OF HER VERY OWN!

Approaching 11 years old, but still spunky, Daisy is a 60lb German Shepard, Boxer mix with soft eyes and silly sweet bottom teeth who was surrendered to the Morongo Basin Humane Society in Joshua Tree. During her almost 2 year stay, she succumbed to kennel stress and after spending most of her time in isolation, lost many of her social skills. But you can hardly blame her for that. After being assessed by our Consulting Trainer Stef Diorio and guided by experienced handlers who focused on her socialization with other dogs, it’s safe to say that Daisy is a Respectable Lady that prefers to be the only animal in the home & is very receptive to human direction. Daisy would do great with a couple or single person, with no other pets in the home. If a family is interested, she would prefer to be with kids over the age of 15. Daisy is crate trained and has the ability to walk by other dogs with predictable and manageable levels of reactivity when she is connected to her human. She enjoys the simple things in life like pausing to watch a beautiful sunset while gently sniffing the evening breeze and then coming home to sit next to you while you both watch Jeopardy. She deserves to spend her last few years in a home full of love and kindness. We will help anyone interested in fostering or adopting Daisy with integrating her into your home, taking the process together step by step helping you build a bond. Please contact us to meet this beautiful gal.
